చేతికొచ్చిన పంటల దాన్యలతో సిరి సౌబాగ్యలు....

ఇంటికి వచ్చిన అల్లులు కు అందే మర్యాదలు

వంటింటిలో అరిసెలు , అటక ఫై సున్నుండలు , జేబులో జంతికలు ....తిన లెన్నని పిండివంటలు.

చాటు మాటున పెద్దలు వేసే కోడి పందాలు .....ఆకాశానికి పోటిగా పిల్లల వేసే గాలి పటాలు

హరిదాసుల గానాలు ....అడిగిన ప్రతి వారికీ... లేదనకుండా దక్కేను అన్న పానీయాలు

ఇలా ఎన్నని చెప్పిన ఆనందం తరుగని .....ఆ నాటి సంబరాల సంక్రాతి ....

కానీ...... నేడు లేదు...ఈ పండుగ రోజున .... రైతు మోములో కాంతి.

ఎందుకంటే

పల్లెటులే దేశానికి పట్టు కొమ్మలు అన్న బాపూజీ..... కలలు కన్నమన స్వరాజ్యం

టూ జి , త్రి జి అంటూ లెక్క లెన్నని కుంబ కోణాలకు ....

అవినీతి అక్రమాలకు అయితే సామ్రాజ్యం.

ప్రకృతి వైపరిత్యాలు , నకిలీ విత్తనాలు , రాజకీయ నాయకుల వాగ్దానాలు

అడుగడుగునా అన్న దాతను మోసం చేస్తూ క్రుంగ దీస్తూ ఉంటె ..

మట్టిని నమ్మిన రైతన ...బరువెక్కిన గుండెతో ...

అందరి నేరానికి తను ఉరి కంబం ఎక్కలిసివస్తుంది.

ప్రతి రోజు వార్త పత్రికలో , టి వి చానలో వినిపించే నీ మరణ వార్త ...

ఈ జనానికి అలవాటు అయిపోయింది .

కానీ వెయ్యి కోట్లకు అధిపతి అయిన ...నీవు పండించే గింజ తినే బతకాలి అన్న సత్యం

మరిచిన వాళ్ళకి ....తినడానికి అన్నం దొరకని రోజున నీ విలువ తెలిసి వస్తుంది.

పరిస్థితి ఇలాగె కొనసాగితే .........నాకు తెలిసి అప్పటికి నీవు ఉండవు అని పిస్తుంది .

The true beauty of Life is lies in Kindness !!!!

One beautiful spring day a red rose blossomed
in a forest. Many kinds of trees and plants grew there. As the rose looked
around, a pine tree nearby said, "What a beautiful flower. I wish I was
that lovely." Another tree said, "Dear pine, do not be sad, we can
not have everything.The rose turned its head and remarked, "It
seems that I am the most beautiful plant in this forest."

A sunflower raised its yellow head and asked,
"Why do you say that? In this forest there are many beautiful plants. You
are just one of them." The red rose replied, "I see everyone looking
at me and admiring me."

Then the rose looked at a cactus and said,
"Look at that ugly plant full of thorns!" The pine tree said,
"Red rose, what kind of talk is this? Who can say what beauty is? You have
thorns too.

The proud red rose looked angrily at the pine and
said, "I thought you had good taste! You do not know what beauty is at
all. You can not compare my thorns to that of the cactus."

"What a proud flower", thought the trees.
The rose tried to move its roots away from the
cactus, but it could not move. As the days passed, the red rose would look at
the cactus and say insulting things, like: This plant is useless? How sorry I
am to be his neighbor."

The cactus never got upset and he even tried to
advise the rose, saying, "God did not
create any form of life without a purpose."

Spring passed, and the weather became very warm.
Life became difficult in the forest, as the plants and animals needed water and
no rain fell. The red rose began to wilt. One day the rose saw sparrows stick
their beaks into the cactus and then fly away, refreshed. This was puzzling,
and the red rose asked the pine tree what the birds were doing. The pine tree
explained that the birds got water from the cactus.

"Does it not hurt when they make holes?" asked the rose.

Yes, but the cactus does not like to see any birds suffer," replied the pine.

The rose opened its eyes in wonder and said, "The cactus has water?"

"Yes you can also drink from it. The sparrow can bring water to you if you ask the cactus for help." The red rose felt too ashamed of its past words
and behavior to ask for water from the cactus, but then it finally did ask the
cactus for help. The cactus kindly agreed and the birds filled their beaks with
water and watered the rose's roots.

Moral of the Story :

A proud rose thinks that it’s superior to other plants in the forest because of its beauty.

But it later learns that beauty is not the only thing when it sees the cactus helping thirsty birds.

1.A beautiful rose looked down upon an ugly cactus but
after the dry season came it got ashamed of its insulting words as it saw
the cactushurt itself to provide water for birds.
2. The passage mainly tells us that a red rosethought
a cactus was very ugly because of its thorns. However, when it
became dry and no rain fell, the cactus could bring water to the
birds and roses, which made the rose ashamed.

3.Being proud of its outer beauty, the red roselaughed at the cactus.
However, spring passed and the red rose was dying. At that
moment, it saw birds suck water from the cactus and realized
what the true beauty was.
4. The proud red rose laughed at the cactus for its ugly appearance and thorns, but in hot and
dry weather, it was the cactus’ thorns that provided lifesaving water
to birds, which shamed the rose.

The story happened in natural world, but the moral it teaches us can be applied
to human society. Everyone has his or her own value in the world. We
should not tease or look down upon others even if they are not superior in
one field, because they might be excellent and generous in other fields,
which we are not good at. In these cases, we need to ask them for help.
Everyone has advantages and eventually shines.

. The story mentioned above reminds us of thinking
what real beauty is. From the comparisonbetween
the proud red rose and the ugly but kind cactus, we have learnt that real beauty lies inside, where kindness and generosity
live; but not from outside, where selfishness roots.

Helen Keller, a woman who is blind but brave. Although she doesn’t have

a beautiful face, she is always kind to others and does everything in her power to save people who are also disabled. So generous is she that everyone respects and loves her.

She tells us the meaning of beauty, which is noble in our society.

And Finally the main moral is :

Never judged anyone by their appearance

God did not create any form of life without

No news papers or media channels are not covered the today’s significance . I.e. Mar 23
But those who remember the true significance they pay respect in social networking sites.

Todays is the Shaheedi Diwas of Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev.
On 23rd of March every year in India we celebrate the Martyrs Day.

March 23 1931, could be a normal date for the world but for India it’s a sad day and entire nation is in tears.
On 23rd Mar 1931, with 'Inquilab Zindabad' in their mind, these three youngsters were hanged to death.
Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru fought for the independence till their last breath and trembled the foundation of British Government.

But, today India is dividing on the name of religion caste, state.
These local insurgents who want to divide India on the name of freedom should first know the meaning of independence.
They are killing innocent people and damaging public properties to solve their purpose.

A Welcome to Death -
The trial of the accused commenced. In those days political prisoners were not treated properly in the jail. They were not given proper food. They were made to suffer in every possible way. Bhagat Singh and his companions decided to fight against the wretched conditions. Bhagat Singh was sure of being hanged. But he thought at least the other political. Prisoners could benefit. All the revolu- tionaries went on fast. They fasted for two months. Then the Government said it would consider their demands. Some gave up the fast. But Jatin Das did not. He did not listen to anybody. On the 64th day of his fast, he died. Bhagat Singh fasted for thirty-two days thereafter.
The trial of Bhagat Singh and hiscompanions began; it drew the attention of the whole world. The court was heavily guarded by the police. No spectators were allowed inside the court. The prisoners were brought to the court in chains. They used to shout 'Long Live Revolution I' and only then enter the court hall.
Bhagat Singh and BatukeshwarDutt stated, "If the deaf are to hear, the sound has to be very loud. When we dropped thebomb, it was not our intention to kill anybody. We have bombed the British Government. The British must quit India and make her free." They also explained the objects of their association. The whole world came to understand their aim and activitiesbecause of the press reports.
Finally judgment was given. Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were to be hanged; some were to undergo lifeimprisonment; some were to be kept in jail for five years, some for seven, some for ten years.
Bhagat Singh was to be hanged! When the news spread, the people all over the country were mad with rage. Thousands of appeals were sent to the Government, pleading that he should be saved. Several leaders of public life joined in the appeal. But all attempts failed. It was decided to hang them on the 24th of March 1931. Even the members of the prisoners' families were hot allowed to meet them. Moreover,
Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru were hanged a day before the appointed day, that is, on March 23rd.

Even on the day of their hanging they were fearless. They were cheerful. They com- peted with one another to be hanged first. It was decided that first Sukhdev would be hanged and then Bhagat Singh and finally Rajguru. All the three climbed the platform. Kissing the rope, they themselves put it round their neck. They died with the name of Bharat Mata on their lips. Such was the end of the three champions of freedom.
That day no one in the jail touched food. Everyone was in tears. The next day, not knowing that the three prisoners had already been hanged, their relatives came to meet them. But it was all over with them. The dead bodies of the martyrs had been secretly burnt on the bank of the river Sutlej. Getting a clue thousands of people raced to the spot; but only the ashes remained. The people sobbed, with the ashes in their hands.
All over the country tributes were paid to the heroes who fought for freedom and sacrificed their lives.
Even today, the heroic spirit of Bhagat Singh is an unfailing source of inspiration to the youth of the country.
His courage, spirit of adventure and patriotism are an example to one and all.

Value of Copper Coin !!!!

Mahatma Gandhi went from city to city, village to village collecting funds for the Charkha Sangh. During one of his tours he addressed a meeting in Orissa. After his speech a poor old woman got up. She was bent with age, her hair was grey and her clothes were in tatters. The volunteers tried to stop her, but she fought her way to the place where Gandhiji was sitting. “I must see him,” she insisted and going up to Gandhiji touched his feet. Then from the folds of her sari she brought out a copper coin and placed it at his feet. Gandhiji picked up the copper coin and put it away carefully. The Charkha Sangh funds were under the charge of Jamnalal Bajaj. He asked Gandhiji for the coin but Gandhiji refused. “I keep cheques worth thousands of rupees for the Charkha Sangh,” Jamnalal Bajaj said laughingly “yet you won’t trust me with a copper coin.” “This copper coin is worth much more than those thousands,”

Gandhiji said. “If a man has several lakhs and he gives away a thousand or two, it doesn’t mean much. But this coin was perhaps all that the poor woman possessed. She gave me all she had. That was very generous of her. What a great sacrifice she made. That is why I value this copper coin more than a crore of rupees.

Please put a Little water....for thirsty birds in summer !!!!

One small request to All friends ,

i think many people may know this, because of global warming day by day the
summer is getting more worse in India i.e. mainly in cities .
And many birds in cities are dieing due to scarcity of water in heavy temperatures.

So please take a couple of minutes out of our day and put some fresh water
in pots or in some bowls for thirsty birds @ Balcony/ Window sills / Terrace
( or where ever ...accessible to this creatures )

Even tough this little water costs us nothing but may save little life's

If possible, do the same for the orphan animals near to ur surroundings
i.e. dogs,cats,cows etc

This is very simple thing we can do ...for our fellow creatures....who can’t speak their troubles.

If you see the relief of thirsty bird or animal , because of water you put in hot summer.
you all also do this regularly.

Even if you are not able to do, please spread this to your friend or forward this message to all.

No need of do great things do small things with Great Love. - Mother Teresa

After one week break i returned to Seoul again.

Salt Coffee......!!!!

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he pooled up courage to invite her to have coffee with him. She was surprised, but being polite, she promised.

They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything and she felt very uncomfortable. She thought, and almost began to plead – ‘please; let me go home....’ and just then he suddenly asked the waiter. "Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to have it in my coffee."
Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously; why you have salt in your coffee? Is this your hobby? He was nervous but replied: "when I was a little boy, my family lived near the sea, and I liked playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of this salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there", and as he spoke tears filled his eyes.
She was deeply touched. She could feel his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart, and thought - A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home and family, cares about home, feels responsible for home.

Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family. That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story.

They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person that she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee, that sparked their conversation!

Then the story took the standard course of the princess marrying the prince, and then they lived happily ever after …... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked it.
After 40 years, as in normal course of time, he passed away. But he left her a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me, forgive me for my whole life lie ….. The only lie I ever told you --- the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, that although I wanted some sugar for my coffee, I ended up saying “salt”. But because I was so nervous, it was hard for me to change, so I just went aheadwith the salt in my coffee. I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything.

Now that I'm dying, I afraid of nothing and so I tell you the truth: I never liked the salty coffee, what a strange taste it was….. But I took the salty coffee for my whole life! All for your sake! Because I knew you made it for me with love, and in all earnestness. Since I knew you and your affection for me, I never felt sorry for anything I did for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life.

If I can live for the second time, I would still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I haveto drink the salty coffee again".
Her tears made the letter totally wet. Some day, someone asked her:
“what's the taste of salty coffee?”
“It's sweet”. She replied.

Moral :
Love is not to forget but to forgive, not to see but to understand,
not to hear but to listen, not to let go but to HOLD ON !!!!

The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small,uninhabited island.He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horigin for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted ,he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions.

One day, when he returned after hunting for food, he found his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened.Everything was lost.He was stunned .Filled with grief and anger, he shouted: "God, How could you do this to me?"

Early the next day, he woke up to the sound of a ship that was approaching the island.It had come to rescue him. "How did you know I was here?" asked the weary but grateful man of his rescuers."We saw your smoke signal", they replied.

It's easy to get discoraged when things appear to be going badly.But we should not loose heart, because God is at work in our lives, even in the midst of all the pain and suffering.

Remember the next time your "little hut" is up in flames, it could just be the smoke signal that summons the grace of God. For all the negative things we have to say to ourselves, God has a positive answer for it.......

This is my favorite story all the times...and i believe in moral.

Horror gripped the heart of a World War-I soldier, as he saw his
lifelong friend fall in battle.The soldier asked his Lieutenant if he could go

TheLieutenant's words didn't matter, and the soldier went anyway.
Miraculously, he managed to reach his friend, hoisted him onto his
shoulder and brought him back to their company's trench. The officer
checked the wounded soldier , then looked kindly at his friend.
"I told you it wouldn't be worth it," he said. "Your friend is dead and
you are mortally wounded."
"It was worth it, Sir," said the soldier.
"What do you mean by worth it?" responded the Lieutenant. "Your
friend is dead."
"Yes Sir," the soldier answered, "but it was worth it because when I
got to him, he was still alive and I had the satisfaction of hearing
him say...."Jim...I knew you'd come."

Moral :
Many times in life, whether a thing is worth doing or not, really
depends on how u look at it. Take up all your courage and do
something your heart tells you to do so that you may not regret not
doing it later in your life...so always

Happy Republic wishes to you ,26th January 1950 is one of the most important days in Indian history.

The country finally realized the dream of Mahatma Gandhi and the numerous freedom fighters who,

fought for and sacrificed their lives for the Independence of their country.

The 26th of January was decreed a "National Holiday" and has been recognized and celebrated as the

Republic Day of India, but many of the young people don’t know the true significance of this day.

So I am composing a mail with some facts about Republic day of India

Republic Day of INDIA :A day of national integrity

India is a nation where humanity has lived since ages. It is a country which is blessed with different religions,

societies, cultures and languages, all interplaying with each other in harmony.

It was on 26th January, 1950 that Republic of India was formed and the Constitution of India came into force.

Republic Day reminds us of the fulfillment of the pledge that was made on the midnight of Independence as a

"tryst with destiny".

“SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC INDIA”:

Although India obtained its independence on August 15, 1947, the Constitution of India came into effect only on January 26, 1950.

During the transition period from 1947 to 1950, King George VI was the head of state. Lord Mountbatten and C. Rajagopalachari

served as the Governors-General of India during this period. Following January 26, 1950, Rajendra Prasad was elected as the

first president of India .

R-Day is one of three national holidays in India , the other two are Independence Day on August 15 (since 1947)

and the birthday of M K Gandhi on October 2.

January 26 was not some random date picked out of the calendar. It was on this date in 1927, that the Indian National Congress,

then fighting its non-violent war for freedom, voted for complete independence as against ‘dominion status’.

It was the date when members of the INC took the pledge to work towards a ’sovereign democratic republic’of India .

After the Constitution was written and adopted on November 1949, 26 January 1950 the following year was chosen as the

day when India would finally arrive as a nation, complete with the lengthiest and the most detailed constitution in the world.

The Constitution of India :

The Constitution of India was certified by the Constituent Assembly on November 26, 1949, and came into effect

on January 26, 1950.

It is the longest written constitution

of the world, Its contain 444 articles and 12 schedule, Total of 117,369 words in the English language version.

It Starts with :

WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a

SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC and to secure to all its citizens:

JUSTICE, social, economic and political; LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;

EQUALITY of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all

FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;

National Game : Hockey ( many people not aware our nation has an excellent record with eight Olympic gold medals .)

Every year a grand parade is held in the New Delhi , from the Rajghat, along the Vijaypath.

The beginning of the occasion is always a solemn reminder of the sacrifice of the martyrs who died for the country in

the freedom movement and the succeeding wars for the defense of sovereignty of their country.

The President of India, who is also the Commander in Chief of the Indian Armed Forces, takes the salute.

Soon afterward, a 21 gun salute is presented, the President unfurls the National Flag and the National Anthem is played.

The military contingent contains reprensentatives of all three divisions of the Armed Forces (air, sea and land).

Various divisions of the Armed Forces then salute the President of India.

The Chief Guest of the parade is a Head of State of another nation.

This year 2010 Indian invites the South Korean President Lee Myung-bak

There are also massive parades of Police contingents, Home guards , Civil Defence and the National Cadet Corps.

The military parade is followed by a colourful cultural parade. India 's rich cultural heritage is paraded with tableaux

from various states. Each state depicts its unique festivals, historical locations and art forms.

The most cheered section of the parade is the children who have won National Bravery Awards.

They ride past the dais on elephants. School-children from all over the country also participate in the parade.

Indian Military showcasing its latest acquisitions such as tanks, missiles, radars, etc.

This year Indigenously developed Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) ''Tejas'' would be showcased in the Republic Day

"The prestigious Tejas will be seen for the first time in the Republic Day parade",

President award the medals of bravery to the people from the armed forces for their exceptional

courage in the field and also the civilians, who have distinguished themselves by their different acts

- This year Ashok Chakra awarded to:

Major D Sreeram Kumar, late Major Mohit Sharma and Havildar Rajesh Kumar were honoured with the country's

highest peace time gallantry medal.

Significance India Gate and Amar Jawan Jyoti : ( A Salute to the Legends )

India gate is a symbol of the bravery and valour of the soldiers. India Gate was designed and built by Lutyens,

originally known as All India War Memorial in memory of the Indian soldiers who sacrificed their lives during Afghan War.

The Amar Jawan Jyoti burns beneath the arch to honour the memory of the unknown soldiers.

A flame Amar Jawan Jyoti at India Gate kept alive since the place was built.

India gate bears the names of 85,000 Indian Army soldiers who died during the wars.

Below the arch is the memorial of the unknown-soldier. The Amar Jawan Jyoti runs on gas was lit in 1971.

The Eternal Fame, in memory of the unknown Indian soldiers who fought in WWII and also a tombstone in Eastern

India,near Myanmar which says:

“When you go home, tell them of us, and say,

for your tomorrow, we gave our today.”

( don’t forget to tribute at the Amar Jawan Jyoti to soldiers who had laid down their lives in the defence of the country.)

R-Day traditionally ends with a coloful flypast by airforce jets in a trianga formation.

The official conclusion of republic day festivities is much later on 29 january i.e. three days after the republic day.

This ceremony is called Beating The Retreat.

Republic Day reminds the people of their fundamental rights and responsibilities and their duties too.

No doubt democracy has certain merits and demerits as well, but the merits certainly have been working meaningfully

and successfully to make India a country regarded highly throughout the world.

So this is a day of national festival for us.

A gentleman once visited a temple under construction where he saw a sculptor making an idol of God. Suddenly he noticed a similar idol lying nearby. Surprised, he asked the sculptor, "Do you need two statues of the same idol?" "No," said the sculptor without looking up, "We need only one, but the first one got damaged at the last stage." The gentleman examined the idol and found no apparent damage.. "Where is the damage?" he asked. "There is a scratch on the nose of the idol." said the sculptor, still busy with his work. "Where are you going to install the idol?" The sculptor replied that it would be installed on a pillar twenty feet high. "If the idol is that far, who is going to know that there is a scratch on the nose?" the gentleman asked. The sculptor stopped his work, looked up at the gentleman, smiled and said, "I know it and God knows it!"

Moral of the story

The desire to excel should be exclusive of the fact whether someone appreciates it or not. Excellence is a drive from inside, not outside. Excel at a task today - not necessarily for someone else to notice but for your own satisfaction.
